Positivo Informática announces strategic partnership with VAIO Corporation, returning the brand to the Brazilian market

Curitiba, Brazil, August 19, 2015 - Positivo Informática S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: POSI3) announces today that VAIO® notebooks will be manufactured and sold in Brazil by the Company, in a joint operation with Vaio Corporation ("VAIO"). This is the first international partnership of this type announced by VAIO. As a result, Brazil has become a target for VAIO, one of the most globally renowned technology brands, which will remain responsible for the entire process of developing the products, which will be available in the local market as of October.

The contract between VAIO and Positivo for operations in Brazil was executed following an audit by the corporation‘s executives of all Positivo‘s production, after-sales, commercial and marketing processes. We entered into this agreement because we meet all the requirements for production and local management of after-sales services, following a meticulous examination of our units by the VAIO‘s executives. Positivo will have manufacturing lines equipped to produce various models, an after-sales team dedicated to VAIO and a sales and marketing team fully prepared to meet the needs of Brazilian consumers. VAIO will remain responsible for product development. Its team of engineers and designers is recognized worldwide for its control over the quality of each detail and functionality, ensuring computers and tablets of superior design, usability and durability, encapsulated in the slogan for its Brazilian advertising campaigns: The Art of Technology.
